Thanks for answering my question. That quoted statement was all I wanted/needed to be said. ;)

Now we wait about 8-9 more weeks for benchmarks.

Re Workstation/Server pricing and K7 and reliability.

No IT department will give a damn what is in the Compaq Proliant Server.. because if it goes ape $hit Compaq will fix it. Get over your facination with what CPU is in it. If Compaq makes a server using 4 K7's then Compaq will sell it and AMD will sell K7's to Compaq. If companies don't build servers around the K7 the no one will buy K7 servers.. it's REALLY NOT that hard to figure out.
