I called one of the law firms this morning, as a former VVUS stockholder who lost a bunch of money in it. I learned that everyone who is covered will get a notice automatically, from the broker(s) where the stock was bought during the key period of time. Nothing need have been done by those stockholders previously about this but when the notices arrive they must be returned. The person to whom I spoke did not know if option holders were covered or not. Sometimes they are; sometimes they are not.
