AIM was stretched to its limits by VLSI over the last few years. This morning I closed out most of the position. I was paid $20.75 for each of 8363 shares sold. I retained 1400 shares to cover the $20 CALL options sold a few weeks ago.

I'm pleased to say that my gains were almost double what Mr. Buynhold would have accomplished during the same time of ownership. If you want to look at it another way, AIM "paid" me about $14,500 a year for investing in this stock. To carry this further, if I spent 5 minutes a week on this AIM account, that would add up to about 4.33 hours "WORK" per year. So, AIM then paid me $3346/hour for my efforts. I don't think I'll complain to the AIM Union about my wage rate! Of course, it "cost" me $50,000 for the VLSI "franchise" at the beginning!

Now all I have to do is pay Uncle Sam when the time comes.
