There are approximately 820 million shares outstanding of which almost 300 million are in the public float. The balance is closely held. The total number of shares authorized is 1.1 billion.

What are the details on the Purewater Sciences International, Inc. – PanAmerican BanCorp transaction?

PanAmerican merged into Purewater in a reverse merger in June of 1998. The name was changed to PanAmerican BanCorp and the symbol was changed from PRWT to PABN. The new name and symbol went into effect in March 1999. Each share of PRWT became one share of PABN.

Why was PanAmerican BanCorp stock as high as $50 last year and did you declare a dividend of 18 cents?

Prior to the PABN symbol being assigned to PanAmerican, it was assigned to Pacific Capital Bancorp, which was acquired by Santa
Barbara Bancorp on December 30, 1998 and their symbol changed to SABB. Any financial data prior to March 8, 1999 reflects the financial activities of Pacific Capital not PanAmerican BanCorp.

Is PanAmerican planning a reverse split and is the intent of the company to become listed?

PanAmerican has no plans for a reverse split. It has always been a goal of the Company to be listed on a different exchange.

Well Barbara, no one seems to have commented about the timing of this Press Release from PABN yesterday, so I guess I will.

Impeccable timing for the release of that PR. Look at the price chart May 5th here and the time on the PR. Just as the price is dropping precipitously, out comes a PR - this PR. A PR that just says they have some IR services. Look at the price how it jumped. All on a nothing PR. That is of course until it became obvious just what a non-event the release was and then it drifted lower yesterday at the close and now lower today. Not at all surprising. Ever want to see a likely case of strategically timing a press release, here it is.

Of course it is not possible that the company would traffic in press releases in any attempt to manipulate the price of their stock, now is it? That sure was some coincidence, don't you think?
