I don't find Akins to be obfuscatory at all. He seems to be quite straightforward about the company's strategy and execution thereof.

Absolutely agree, management are straight shooters.

That's not quite how I meant it. I'd agree that he's giving the facts. I just think his presentation is overly verbose. So I wouldn't call it "straightforward".

Some people talk that way because they're trying to be precise. Others get in the habit and forget how to just say what they mean. This may just be one more thing we have to "thank" the lawyers for.
