Ted,

Were you an investor in Cyrix when they were Cyrix.. or did you follow them. Look at what happens to semi-makers without their own fab space.. everyone one of them is losing money because those that own the fabs can charge whatever they want due to the shortage. Sure the comming shortage may allow National to get a little more cash for the Fab, but it won't help them any when it comes time to buy back the wafers.

Sorry, but the only way this would have made sense is if National had completely dumped the entire system on a chip idea and gone back to analog.
