--OT--

RTev, the more I think about this, the more I am convinced that AOL will be forced to cut a deal with AT&T for access. I would not be surprised to see ATHM/AT&T and AOL strike a deal in the near future.

Sorry for that point, but still, the main point remains: his selling stock when he has so much and when that's a significant part of his compensation is not a big deal.

You're absolutely right.

It's like clockwork - every time Bill sells a few shares, the thread gets a few people saying "Bill's selling - the sky is falling - get out of MFST right NOW!". Funny yet sad at the same time... :)

RTev and Morgan, how did you like today's reversal in the NASDAQ?

I went out on a limb this morning and suggested it was a possibility. God am I happy I got lucky with the call. More importantly, however, is the fact that the tech sector took off on very heavy volume at the end of the day.

Let's hope there is some follow through tomorrow.

There is another article today says that Bill sold 10 mil. shares.
Does anyone know where I can find the total shares he holds and how much he has sold in last year (besides Edgar filings which are tedious to browse through ?) I am getting heavy on MSFT and would like to sell of some, if Bill is getting concerned about the "long long term prospects" for his company....

On the other hand almost everyone on planet has vested interest in MSFT stocks and the whole market will go down big time, if MSFT is split and the stock goes down. So, i guess the feds would be cautious in their moves, considering this.

Well - some rambling of mine - fact is "no one knows what the future holds"....
