You're right!!!! Sell everything!!!! Oh my gosh!!!! What will Broadcom do???? I'm sure their business plan expected that they would have all broadband markets to themselves, forever!!!!

They might as well try to sell themselves now. As if they even could... Their little world is about to come crashing down. Look -- someone might name CNXT as a <gasp> SECOND SOURCE SUPPLIER!!!

I'll bet in hindsight they wish they'd gotten a few decent engineers while they could to help deal with all this competition. Since nobody expected any competition, and they had those fat ASP's, I'll bet they thought the gravy train could go on forever. I guess the joke is on all the investors. Sure wish I'd been in CUBE the last six months instead of BRCM. We're goners now for sure.

I've lurked reading all of the posts about competition and have come to the conclusion that for all your education in finance theory, there was not also healthy dose of common sense thrown in. NOBODY expects ASPs or margins to stay this high. NOBODY expects that there will not be competition. I doubt that MOST people expect them to dominate the market for silicon in ALL of the broadband markets. They don't have to.

Stop acting like everyone on the thread is stupid for investing in this company and hasn't thought of the same things you have but reached different conclusions.
