Amy and Thread - Local News spot features Intel's Web Pad Evidently the Intel Architecture Labs has distributed a few dozen Web Pads around town (Portland / Hillsboro, Or) to do some testing. The family in the news spot LOVES THE THING. Even mom, who described herself as not technology friendly, LOVES THE THING. They have it for six weeks, and they do not want to give it back. Teen kids seems to be intently using it at the kitchen table, on the couch... This thing does look really cool. I can see myself comfortably sitting in my recliner, catching up on SI, calmly contemplating how I'm going to respond to Scumbria's last post.... PB
