<<Indeed, at a press conference in New York, Hewlett-Packard officials said the company had soured on EMC's ''aging architecture,'' which did not provide the features desired by its customers.

''To reach our goals (of 100 percent data availability), we needed a high-end product with no single points of failure. We believe the EMC (product)... will not meet that criteria>>

Hmmm....I wonder if DELL will move in and offer the storage solutions that the HWP and EMC customers really want <gg>....It may take a little time BUT I wouldn't bet against Michael Dell. The virtual integration model is tough to beat..That is why I have DELL as my ONLY hardware and storage play for the LONG TERM.

Best Regards,

Scott
