Eugene,

>> Shorted a lot of aol at 126.5. I'll cover in just a few points either way, and probably today.
Shorted some others, too, amzn, yhoo, etc.144.74 and 156.

I am flabbergasted. Is there no loyalty left in this world. When Lise Beyer said it is time for the faithful to stand up and be counted, she did not mean short.

Anyhow the fate of your shorts is in the hands of the dow and nasdaq baskets, which react to money flows and interest rates. If GST was around, we could ask him.

Gene - So YOU'RE driving down my YHOO! ;-> The market didn't like AG's remarks, but his opening statements were a paean to US high tech companies. It's OK, I liked his remarks. I think you've got all the winners. Especially impressed w/ QCOM over the last few days. But, I'll sell EMC next time it's near 130 - still worry about disk drive manufacturers. For me, this will be a trading stock.

I remain conflicted between my buy and hold beliefs, and the volatile market that provides short term opportunities. Sold half AMZN around $200, but waited way too long on the rest. Still, I preserved 15 pts by getting out at 156, and getting back in later.

So MSFT decided to buy T instead of AMZN, huh?

Bot several thousand T. Making it a core holding. I am convinced.T, QCOM, CSCO, MSFT, EMC, VTSS

Do you see any positive correlations here re-LU? LU is still so very close to T.
