I don't think dilution means anything yet to QWST. We are still building and have a great future. When it matures and earnings keep coming etc, then dilution would be a problem in my opinion.

They still have to get something for the last mile and to expand the network globally.

Moose:

I wouldn't view this authorization increasing the number of shares negatively. First, it is necessary if there is going to be a stock split (good psychologically for most investors). Second, if the company wisely uses additional shares to make strategic acquisitions or joint ventures, that should be a positive.

This authorization is merely an administrative requirement to support future plans/opportunities or circumstances.

IMHO, we shouldn't jump to any negative conclusions regarding this.

If the additional shares are used to make a purchase of another company that adds substantially to QWST then it is not dilution. The purchase of LCI, for example, turned into a positive.

Look at it this way: if you use a billion dollars in stock to buy a billion dollar company, you haven't diluted anything. Hopefully, tho, the new acquisition adds to your company so you together end up making much more money.
