Marc: Re: " If employment report not on the weak side in terms of stuff like jobs and hourly wages tomorrow then the market looks awful IMO."

Long bond is pricing in some bad news currently and we should see a weak market this afternoon as a result unless the long bond rallies.

A thought about Bob's model calls. I wonder how much of a difference there is in what triggers a bear call and an intermediate correction call particularly since Bob has said a bear call may come following an intermediate correction call that degenerates into a bear call. I guess it doesn't matter that much if we follow Bob's advice and pretty much get out if there's an intermediate correction call since either one says get out. If we have a bad report tomorrow the market will obviously be down a lot and then we face the decision of whether to take some money out when prices are already several % off the high.
I wonder if we do get a selloff based on deteriorating fundamentals if money is still going to go to to work for a time giving us a window of opportunity
