Ian, Corel presumed a great deal of license with the Heddy Lamar image. So hopefully this lesson has caused management to foresee this problem and take the preventative step you mentioned.

I doubt that any "marketing value" of Draw can be calculated by inclusion the photo in the library thereby negating any financial loss to the model. In fact Corel may be able to make the case that including this photo in widely recognized software package may have enhanced this model's career. So this lawsuit is probably intended gain notoriety for the model and achieve a quick settlement from Corel.

Do you know if Corel actually paid the photographer for the photo?
