Yeah, I miss those good old days when we had the Jerry Springer Show on this thread every day <g>.

Long bond around 5.79 now jobs report was sort of neutral, nothing to cause big a big rally or tank. Stocks moving back up to their highs, will be interesting to see if they rally some more again when the bond closes. Tough call but I'm going to take this as an opportunity to lighten up some more and add to my ultra short fund hedge. By the way Profunds I see just opened up a 2beta Europe long and short fund. If Bob makes a sell call at some point it might be something I would consider in lieu of selling my Europe and Int'l funds and taking a big capital gain. Since I think they definitely would not be considered like securities wouldn't be any of those pesky short against the box constructive sale tax issues. I'm holding on to my current modest semi capex holdings in the big 4 and ASYT

Long bond yield 5.81
Dow at new high
S&P500 now less than 2% off all time high

So no correction and certainly no improvement in valuation.
Also now in the time of year (May) where bad things often happen and as Bob has said most money tends to be made in Nov-May with May to Nov being relatively poor. Put all together my conclusion is
THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING
