The concept of selling the internet, piece by piece, requires &#147&#133a highly trained investigative staff&#133&#148 to figure out that it's a fictitious idea on April First?

"and alot of time was wasted" - Really? Anywhere near as much as that spent reading your incessant boring diatribe? ... Now compare the educational values.

"...an authentic sounding press release that would have required a highly trained investigative staff to prove otherwise." - rofl. Required by you and your elk, maybe, yes. Anyway, you're missing the point, as usual - Business Wire was not the butt of the joke originally, the target was investor credulity, and a solid hit was scored.
Now I ask myself - Why would this bother Cindy Powell?

Cindy, I am still waiting for you to provide names, addresses and phone numbers of the folks you said would vouch that you had a sense of humor. You wouldn't have been fibbing about that, would you?

TIA,

Barb

Cindy, How was BW embarassed by the fact that they did their thing?
Someone paid them to publicize some information and they did. That's
their business, it's what they do. They didn't do anything to be
embarassed about until they sued a customer for doing something that
didn't even violate their contract. Now that's embarassing.

...and that the Webnoders are going to regret feigning around with Business Wire and their trademarks.

Please explain what you mean by "feigning around". Sheesh. You say you went to COLLEGE?

Is it possible that the same “highly trained investigative staff” would be needed to prove that the Brooklyn Bridge really isn't for sale, or that the Pope really doesn't bless Y2K software for the Vatican IT network? Or does that fall into the realm of 'new space age technologies', too?
