Thanks bones, I'll check it out. It was my understanding that the traffic from dsl connections comes at the ISP level, but I'm pretty naive on the subject. All I know is that GTE gives me the line and I had dozens of ISP's to choose from at a variety of monthly charges in addition to the GTE fee. How do I know what level of service to expect and at what charge ?....What makes one ISP better than another and why do the rates vary for what seems to be similar service. Can you have too many subscribers sharing a dedicated isp line? Sorry for all the questions...Thanks again- brk
