Those guys in NXTL refused a $42 per share offer from WCOM and insisted on $44 per share instead. What kinds of idiots they are! Only two dollars in difference. And they are only worth of $15! Good to see WCOM to give up. Today's drop is due to the deal of AT&T with Microsoft. Investors are afraid that the venture between the two giants will leave less room for their competitors. Investments in cable is highly risky!!! Even AT&T has to consider to diverse the risks. I think a WCOM-AOL alliance may be established in the future. I like GTE very much. If BEL failed to merge GTE, WCOM should do it.
