Why would IBM support a competing supplier of Xray lithography sources? Have they completely abandoned their xray synchrotrons? Despite their claim that their synchrotron and various xray processes are complete and ready for orders, I dont see them financing JMAR. I think they are too tied into the synchrotron mindset. I think JMAR should look to the suppliers who have sold xray steppers. I recall having seen more than one supplier of steppers, SAL is one of them, but I cannot recall the others. Anyone else know who the other xray stepper suppliers are?

By the way, does anyone on this Board really know who JMAR may have had discussions or negotiations with? How do we know JMAR has or hasn't contacted IBM, the various xray stepper suppliers, or others to fund or promote their lithography source? Maybe they've been rejected by all. Or maybe they are in negotiations with one or more. Perhaps we can ask management now or at the shareholders meeting, but what is any public company going to tell us before they have a deal that they can announce? Do you really expect it to be as simple as saying "Gee whiz, JMAR should talk to IBM and then IBM will invest in JMAR"? It seems to me that JMAR has been saying for years what they planned to do, but it sounds like only recently have they begun to achieve the technical milestones that are needed to find support for their technology from the industry. I suspect the industry has said, "show us a viable source which produces meaningful amounts of xrays and then we'll be interested." Until recently, it doesn't sound like JMAR had completely developed that source. For me, I'm going to hold on and see what happens over the next year. (As a newcomer to the stock, however, I guess I dont have the years of frustration built up waiting for something to happen that a lot of you others do.)
