Doubt you will hear it Keith and I don't know about others, but I resent the implication on a open thread of being called a liar.However there are all kinds on SI and as norm Roberts has said,he knows how to piss off an audience.You know I have found that on SI those who short stocks feel they have the juice on daytrading.I like to think those that can do it both ways have the system. Unfortunately, as most contrairian investors know, it takes a few bucks and they realize most newbies don't have the resources so they feel people are ignorant investors.I have heard some nice winning stories on the short side, but, as with longs, I have heard some nightmares as well.I look at these comments as a growing experience and respect the opinion but because of the manner have formed an opinion of the messenger. XXXXXamount of shares.and 100, at $30.25 becomes, $30.35, and another 300 buy becomes. $30.45.and another50 shares become,$30.55.and then the kiss of death.some floor trader gets an offer to sell 5,000 at $30.75. ergo the poster makes $1000,dollaroonies.you must have big cajolies keith.no true investor or daytrader would put out eighty thousand,to make a pittence of 500 american,GIVE ME A BREAK, SEE KEITH,this is the same promlem,i mentioned before.yes you do have the smarts.(for your self)why is it so important to convince evey one else,if not for private gain.personally i have made great money. from just lerking.so don't come forward and say you are posting to make other people money.because we both know. that is not true. so keith when you talk to our benevolent freind. chiefee.ask him why he never answered, my question."DAY TRADING" WHAT, IS HIS ANGLE. i know he want's everyone to be a millionare."YEA RIGHT" so if you can generate,enough enthusiasm.then you can tell them you bought, a ton of stock,in xyz. and they will follow but if you made, a ligitamate trade, of a quality stock. then i would be the first to apoligize.so i would say buy.swy.hlr.bbc.and many others on the n.y.s.e.and in 2 to 4 years. you will make real money. all the best nrr

Kieth - I corrupted my Spreadsheet with all my trades this year I just rekeyed it all. for the record - 289 tranactions $5k in commish. And yes I am making money and have been doing so for almost a year after about 8 months of bad moves .

Hi keith..............I admire your desire to pass on the help you received as a beginner. I too have attempted to pass the favours along . My indebtedness was a result of loads of guidance from Ed ...Jimsy....Martin .....and many others. Your help is invaluable and I hope you will continue but if not ..In my opinion your debt must be covered many times over by now. You can stop giving and not feel guilty for it The norms , the JP's ....the company hacks....the paid shills .. can all work on us at times......no shame in saying.."enough" If all the recipients on this thread pass guidance on.. in the same unselfish manner, as the chief and yourself ...maybe SI still has a chance..... wayne
