Product alone does not make a successful company. I have seen half a dozen tech firms blow up on the distribution decisions and i am sure everyone else can think of a few. The nature of this racket is that you cannot have the best product for an unlimited period of time. During the period they pound the pavement getting distribution in place, someone else is squirrelling away trying to replace them. We all know of bundled software that doesn't cut it, but how many times do we just take what is there?
