Dave they are not being 'screwed'. They are getting, from what I understand, a chance to keep a portion of their options if they sign on with Ericy. The fact that they dont want to do that is understandable. However it is a compromise for all parties. Unless I am missing something, it seems to me, that the employees want all their options, and a new job with a third party. Obviously that is not going to happen. I think spending a hundred million to make these people happy is unique in our culture. Ifthey worked for GM the MGMT would be laughing whille saying" dont let the door hit you on the way out". I think this has more to do with slime bag lawyers inciting these employees, and giving them the impression they can get all their options. Even if the case wins it will be 10 years from now, and the lawyers will take 80% anyway. Wouldnt they be better off taking a deal?
