Yeah, and if high-tech engineers were as easy to come by as people working the assembly lines at an auto plant, a lot of high-tech management would saying the same thing about the door. It's all a people market.

There's no doubt in my mind that my employer would pay half the amount of money to replace me if they thought they could. I'm not sure that they wouldn't have an obligation to the stockholders to do that if they could.

Since it IS a people market, the question is whether or not the Q can continue to attract the right people if they treat employees the way the infrastructure employees are being treated. It's not a legal issue. It's a growth issue.
