1) Intel is making a profit across it's entire CPU line, something AMD is not.

2) Because AMD is not making a profit, I would suggest to them they price the K7 so they do [make a profit].

3) The first part of your statement has been a problem in the past. I don't know about this time, but as a fab guy, I do have fundamental problems with their approach to the upcoming .18 conversion, e.g., dual process transitions (Al and Cu).
