Thanks Linda. I've learned a TON over the years from my father that while it is critical to know what you buy, it is equally as critical to know "when" to buy it. Also, a heavy dose of patience is required too, as it could take months for the price appreciation to unfold, however for LSI (non-buyout) that appreciate was dramatic. My dad's entry strategy is the best I've ever seen. He keeps a list of stocks to buy, and if they eventually get killed due to tech correction (last Oct98 comes around only once every 3 years or so) or end of quarter selling, he (we) jump in. Also grapped LSI logic too in the $11's. I'm humbled by his strategy, but then again, he was one of early troops out there in the venture capital tech field (silicon valley) in the 70's-80's, and now uses those skills to buy public companies that get beaten down. Our favorite was NOVL in the $7-8 range Dec97, and we've both added to this position over time.

A few on our current list to accumulate are DGN and CY. Even some DIS if it drops down to the $26-28 range, to help diversify holdings. BA near $34 was another gift. Also some oils such as NE, though we both wish we could have bought more. Can't get greedy, as Bulls get fat, and Pigs get slaughtered. Best wishes on your future investing! Bye VLSI! Enjoy your new European home. Regards, QuadK
