I was thinking xau would pause or retrace a bit. i wasn't quite prepared for the Brit news. good for my xau put position...it doubled overnight. -g-

XAU held 70 which was very positive. NEM didn't get hit as bad as I thought it would....

Hutch,
These gold bugs are the longest suffering bunch of sad sacks I have ever seen.....if central banks still weren't supporting the price, it would be much much lower......we will have true commoditization of gold when central banks quit buying the dam stuff on demand.....the sooner they sell off all of their gold reserves, the better IMO...are the price moves(up or down-it doesn't matter to me) significant enough as of late to draw a traders attention?
