~ OT ~ Thanks for the input Mohan. I just talked to Sprint and the Qualcomm Touchpoint sounds like a nice phone -- they charge much less than the $299 for the StarTac. I'm sure Greg & Co. would rather have me support Qualcomm <VBG>...

Best Regards,

Scott

I have a Nokia 6100 phone and ATT service. I think its $159 for 1400 minutes. I travel all over the US, midwest the most though, and the quality of the service just depends. The analog phones are better in vocal quality than digital, but if you are going to be traveling and don't want to get killed by roaming charges you'll need a digital phone. I don't know about Sprint and the overall quality with regard to distance though. Some areas are just too remote for good reception.

*O.T.* Mohan, I've been studying the cell phone options as well and right now you can get a $50.00 bonus in L.D. service for signing up by Mother's Day. ALSO..there is NO yearly contract with Sprint so if a better deal comes along you can migrate over to the new plan.
