The only smart thing they ever did was buy PPL which was a good company. They got PPL's founder to reorganize JMAR and put it into a profit-making position. Then they got rid of him. Subsequently, they apparently haven't been keeping pace with competition as evidenced by the contracts they are losing.

JMAR has never produced a money-making product.

Now Bilberry thinks they should go whole-hog with XRL. What makes him think that product will work any better than anything else they've produced? Bet everything on an unknown!

It looks to me like their focus has changed several times over the last 2-3 years. Read the press release regarding their focus at the end of 1997. We had disk inspection work stations as the focus then. What happened to that? Throughout the latter half of 1998 we eagerly anticipated Britelight because companies were lining up to buy. Apparently there is no demand. Now JMAR is changing their focus back to XRL again. A joint venture would surely help. I think all the shareholders could use a joint right now.
