I wish Cable co's in the US could get their act together. I have SHAW@HOME and love the service i have received. My service went down late one night. I called in the morning, was never on hold. They told me a router was down, they actually said they would call me back when it was fixed. They did about 4 hrs later. We could not get the modem to work, so later that day a tech came by and replaced the modem with the newer, sleeker Cyber Surfr by Motorola. It worked fine.

The kicker is that 1 day later I had a message on my machine from the SHAW@HOME customer service center saying that they were just wondering if everything was still okay with my modem. I didn't bother to call them back (I thought that no call would be the same as saying that nothing was wrong). They called again 2 days later and left another message. I finally called them back and told them everything was okay (just to get them off my back <g>)

As I've said on the AOL thread, I would sign up for SHAW's lawn care service, if they provided one, and if i had a lawn.

I'm sure this is one major reason why SHAW has 100,000 @HOME customers.

regards
Jay
