Tonnes, not billions. No big deal, and overly discounted by the market Friday imho. 1 tonne = 31,000 ozs x $290 = $8,990,000US, 425 x 9mil = 3.825bil. Drop in the bucket -g- - #reply-9410233 All the gold stocks on the planet have a small fraction of the market cap of msft.

really? UK said they're gonna sell gold??? -VBG- yes i know. that was a buy signal to me. Gold should go vertical from here, IMO... but it could be a few days or a week till blastoff time... depends on when the herd decides to panic
