Court Says Encryption Has Free Speech Rights.
(A poor title for this article)

lawnewsnetwork.com

the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals held Thursday that computer source code is speech protected by the First Amendment.

That's cool! When I program I'm exercising my first amendment rights. The next time someone sends me a "problem report" and asks me to amend my source code their going to have a suit on their hands. ;-)

It looks like html may also be covered under this ruling.
