Spin and propaganda are treacherous for democracies. Milosevic has been using propaganda, but he feels no shame, and has no free press to pin him to the wall. Although not used as extensively, NATO and western politicians have also been using spin / propaganda to keep the war popular with their electorates. The problem for NATO and these politicians is that they have a free press to deal with, have been contradicted by facts repeateadly, and now have a credibility problem. In the Chinese Embassy bombing, we see the Chinese using the West's poor record about Kosovo to accuse the alliance of having willfully targeted their embassy (which I do not believe for a second). The Chinese are spining, just like our politicians did.

But, NATO's bombings aren't aimed at only one person. Hopefully, NATO will destroy most of the Serb terrorist Military forces and machinery in Kosovo and Yugoslavia. This will create stability for the Millennium by removing a large terrorist force from that area. Great news though! The Serb forces in Kosovo have been beaten back and significantly destroyed by the bombing! The KLA has taken back a lot of land. So, my worry about the brutalized Kosovo Albanians is less now that they have safe areas "within" Kosovo! Great! Slob and Dog Face, your days are numbered!
