I know this is a stupid question but what is yammer? Also are there any general thoughts on who the best online broker is because I am ready to dump etrade.

Yamner and DLJ use the same clearing house, so short availability should be comparable. steve goldman says that Yamner will go out and look for shares if unavailable through DLJ. They'll also let you short stocks under 5 if they can borrow them.

Edit: Oh, I see that you already knew that. <g>
