Well I have never had the chance to program the 432 itself. But from everything I have read I think I would have enjoyed it. Also I think if we had carried the 432 design forward instead of the 80286 things would look a lot different today. For some strange reason I can't shake the feeling that we would have much higher performing CPUs if the 432 had carried to mainstream.

The 80860 and 80960 (forgive me if those numbers are transposed it's been a while since I've talked Intel RISC) decended from the 432 in some way, shape or form I believe.
