Don Green: Well, I don't set the standards for calling Bear or Bull Markets, but I think just breaking the previous years low would not do it for me. Not after almost two decades of rallies.

Of course, if I just went long the day before the decline began and did not use a stop loss, buying into the approach "for the long-term"...I would want to call it a Bear Market...<g>

In the longer run, we are within the 23 year up cycle that started in 1982.

In the short run, funny things can and do happen.
