George - re: ". My latest report, just posted at gildertech.com, shows that the National management is about to create huge new wealth"

National's management just pissed away $550 MILLION in their Cyrix purchase, they are writing off another $200 million to EXIT the PC CPU business, they incurred possibly $175 MILLION in Operating LOSSES since they purchased Cyrix, they blew themselves out of the LAN chip business by NOT FOCUSING on their once-dominant position, and now they are also trying to unload a brand new wafer fab - probably incurring another $300 million in losses on that sale.

And you think the clowns running National are "about to create huge new wealth" ?

They JUST DESTROYED OVER A BILLION DOLLARS in ASSETS !

These National Management Clowns can't even tie their own shoe laces and should be tossed out in the street, if not taken to court and sued for complete incompetence.

Paul

My latest report, just posted at gildertech.com, shows that the National management is about to create huge new wealth.

Is that a joke?

What did they do, buy a printing press?

Can't believe I actually have a profit in this barker.

$295/year subscription rate? No offense, sir, but perhaps your next report should be entitled "The Plunging Cost of Information". My Yahoo home page provides me with information and services that would have cost me thousands of dollars just 10 years ago- mail, shopping, weather, maps, quotes, even private investigating! All for the cost of internet access. Now if National can add portability and mobility to that potent brew, at a price that I am willing to pay, then they will have a bright future indeed.
