My son mentioned he saw emc as one of the top holdings for the next five to ten years in Money Mag. (he thinks) They listed ten stocks for the next 5 to 10 years. He also noted cisco as he holds both csco and emc.

technically, the stock is not looking very good right now, but isn't that the time to be buying if you are a LT shareholder? i'm adding on the dips. i want to start writing some covered calls on EMC since i don't think it will see the HUGE ST runups we've seen in the past year or so. but, the stock has solid earnings growth and will continue to shine.
