I had the same thought regarding Dell. Is there an emoticon for fingers crossed?

The V3 3500 release mentioned nothing about LCDfx or flat screen technology. WUWT? Is the 3500 TV going to be available in 2 configurations?

Great news on the sales front. PC Data hasn't updated their website yet so I don't know if a TNT board even made it into the top 5. The various V3 permutations may appear to stuff the ballot box but I see that the V3 took the top 3 spots. That means each card is there based on sales figures of each individual model. Wonderful.

A quick look back at the PC Data history shows that a Voodoo based video card has been the No.1 seller since it was beaten out by a $75 ATI card in 11/98. Voodoo was only No.2 seller that month. Actually Voodoo has been No.1 10 out of the last 12 months with the Monster II - the most expensive board on the market. Go figure.

Hmm, I wonder why 3dfx mentions that they are using Dell servers for their upcoming website

My thoughts mirror yours, it seems as though 3dfx management is getting into the "subtle" game. I could EASILY see the V3 3500 TV integrated into Dell or a whole slew of other platforms for that matter. This is a niche market that ATI has had for too long. Also, the announcement of a PCI 3500 is great news as well! I would consider it a viable part especially for multimonitor mayhem! Furthermore, I would much rather see the TV/radio/digital VCR support instead of DFP support at this stage of the game. Wheeeeeee!
