It's a recipe for disaster. The force level that was originally proposed for conducting a ground campaign in Kosovo was 200,000 versus the 40,00+ Serbs in Kosovo. That was cut back to 100,000. A couple weeks ago, they said they were readying plans for 60,000 troops. Just last week, they've been stating that they're updating plans for a ground force of 50,000 troops. What the politicians don't realize is that the number of expected casualties in a ground war is not linearly correlated with the number of ground troops sent in. The dolts think that if they send in fewer soldiers, there will be fewer casaulties. It's more likely inversely related up to a certain level.
