First Amendment rights shouldn't allow for slander and inflamatory persecution parties. These 1st Amendment "rights" can be dangerously disrespectful.

Wired didn't sign a contract with you. Whole 'nuther ball game in my opinion.

I personally wouldn't have pursued a law suit against you all, Janice. I think that alot of these little minor hostilities should just fizzle out, and that "letting it pass" is the action (or inaction) of choice for most situations. I do understand, though, why they feel they must protect their name from being collectively and unfairly besmirched. Your taking such offense to them "making high handed demands" and "issuing orders," should also probably be interpreted as you taking unneccessary and uncalled for offense to them making "reasonable and routine requests" that you chose to make into an anti-authority battle.

I think it is you who is anti-authoritative to a fault, for no good purpose, and to no good end "sometimes." I also hope that BW will just capitalize on the situation as a learning experience, and not go after your pocket books.

Good Luck.
