Tim:
Why US care about the lifes of those 3 POWs and not the lives or Serbs? Isn't that double standard? Because it is Chinese lives in the previous case, and American lifes in the later case.
I don't give a damn if those three dumb POWs get executed. That is the risk of their jobs,so are those three reporters.

What US government has done is worse. IMHO
I will never criticize people trying to do the right thing.Right or wrong.

If you do not agree with their human right give you the right to kill their people?
No, but how about the people they have killed? My point is " Don't whine if you want to be a thug."
regards

Serendipity-
Function: noun
Etymology: Persian
:the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for.

That's what I consider the bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade. It was not intentional, but it's proof that every cloud has a silver lining.

According to the Associated Press, China has demanded that the U.S. apologize for the NATO bombing, investigate the attack and punish those responsible.

As an honest to goodness, authentic American, I propose to speak on behalf of the U.S..

China can kiss my ass.

Maybe they shouldn't have spent so much time stealing nuclear secrets and committing atrocities in Tibet and spent more time learning how to duck incoming 2000 lb. conventional warheads.

I've just returned from a business trip that directly concerned events in the Balkans. Without going into detail, from my limited perspective, it seems as if the DOD is preparing itself for the long haul in regards to it's operations in Yugoslavia. Until NATO's terms are met, I don't anticipate a lessening in intensity of the air campaign. If anything, my opinion is that it will intensify, with a possible change in tactics.

Having said that, as always, it's a pleasure to be back in the good old USA.

> Wait! What about Taiwan is not thrilled to reunite to China?
I could care less.

Of course you don't care. To you that is just another 21 millions bugs. That is exactly why Taiwanese refuse to reunite to China. You have a lot to learn what human rights are all about.

> But rest of the world think China is the "evil empire".
I wonder if there are more people thinking China is the evil empire or some other country like the US

Why don't you ask their neighbor countries: Vietnam, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia....
You will be surprised Chinese are not so welcomed.

> Don't whine if you want to be a thug.

Why not tell that to KLA?

KLA is not a thug.

BTW, If you love China so much, what are you doing here in the states?
