Interesting, somewhat gossipy article on backstabbing among Barrons' finest:

Protecting Biggs, of all people. I personally wouldn't feel a great loss if I never read another column by Alan Abelson. The problem is, their current talent is pretty thin. They would improve themselves if they brought back John Liscio, IMO.

Stitch,

Just exactly the balanced and reasoned response I was looking
for.

Very helpful.

Thanks

Jim

<<The risk is that Hutch continues to fumble with their process and gives tme
to an emerging comeptitor. But I do not see that competitor on the horizon and if we
can believe Hutch they are making progress in yields.>>
The March quarter seemed to demonstrate dramatic progress in yields. Premium pricing was gone, the brakes were put on production with several weeks still to go and they still earned $.54. Units were still being upgraded with changes that have enabled some units to produce 400k suspensions per week. In my mind, yields are doing extremely well and the only issue is when volumes return. -Z
