The bombing isn't saving anyone. In order to stop the forced exportation of Kosovars, they needed to use ground troops some time ago. The Italians warned the US and Brits this would happen. NATO knew it as well. I wasn't in favor of the intervention of the civil war at the outset and I'm still not. But if you're going to attempt to retain the land rights of the Kosovar, they need to use sufficience ground force. The US under Bush failed to provide support to the Iraqi Kurds and the Shi'ites after the Gulf War after encouraging their revolt.
