I didn't really want to have fun or enjoy myself-- You'd have made a wonderful mother. MOthers are the greatest martyrs. TO acknowledge having fun would alleviate the family's guilt. Can not do. Lose power. But forget the sullen crap--- forced cheerfulness-- that's the ticket. (Yes I'm miserable and put upon, but see- damn it- I'm still smiling.) THat MJ- I don't know how you stand her-forcing you to enjoy yourself like that. Welcome back anyway.

Which doesn't tell me much, I mean chrysoprase is green quartz and this isn't chrysoprase. It looks looks a lot like clear green glass, but it's full of inclusions, bubbles, black stuff, stratified, and it's very heavy. It looks good with the malachite. I need to get something very heavy to string it with. Well, I've got tiger tail, which is a kind of wire, but that means I have to use a clasp of some kind, and the necklace is going to be kinda heavy for most clasps. Some kind of heavy thread would be good. Wish I had some fancy hollow carved beads to space it with, too, maybe Chinese bone beads or black lacquer. That would lighten it up. Time to go to the bead store. But, first, time to go to the ABC. Tequila night, I think.
