I'll have to let it go and see what happens. I try to keep it in the 4-20 range. I know that the troubles I had were when it got into the low kilobyte range. If you use the bitmap trick, remember -- start by opening and closing one bitmap, and work your way incrementally up. Also, beyond a certain point it is counterproductive and you will have to re-boot. I also think that you are better off not letting it get so low that it affects performance -- once it gets that low you may have to re-boot. w
