He's been quoted as saying there's nothing wrong with "striking" a women, If she "deserved it". The reporter who he was talking to gave him the chance to retract or clarify the statement, he stood by what he said. ...Quite beastly in my book. I like Connery as an actor, but don't think I care for him as a man. His "Bond" will always be "the" Bond! Although I think Brosnan (sp?) makes for a good Bond. If your modem was the only thing that got fried, you should consider yourself very, very lucky. Electrons have a way of getting into everything, so keep a watchful eye on the 'puter. I've known files to be corrupted by power surges. Not to mention a lot of little weird things happening afterward.
