Victor, It's like benchmarks on different computers... Each vendor can skew results just sufficiently to benefit his own ranking. What we need for this type of research is a truly independent organisation to compile the results of their own research. H (by the way, CPQ uses a pretty independent organisation to do benchmarking, as do most of the name brand vendors. Check it out: tpc.org ) EDIT: If you do look at TPC results, look at the "Price/Performance" results...

Deep Thoughts from the Yahoo Zoo.............. New Compaq CEO????? by: MichaelBrennan_Webtv 75665 of 75666 Just announced that Tandy Chairman/CEO leaving. Was not supposed to happen until May 2000. CNBC cannot explain his departure. Many good comments about what he has done for Tandy. Could destination be CPQ????? Radio Shack (i.e. Tandy) had a very nice relationship with Compaq.....
