I wondered if she wrote a new one. I wasn't being picky or anything. just so you know. I can be picky, but that wasn't it. I loved "How the Irish Saved Civilization" I know its slanted but since the I have two "Patricks" in my home it was fascinating to read about St. Patrick. I am now motivated to find a scholarly bio on him. I was very entertained by the contrast between Patirck and Augustine- and since I thoroughly dislike Augustine I liked Patrick all the more for being the antithesis of Augustine (if he was, and I hope he was).

I just re-read Washington Square, because it is my favorite book by James (really a very modern book, I think) and also because I saw the movie and wanted to check and see if the movie was as off base as I thought it was, and it was. Albert Finney playing an American didn't help.

I have various other books scattered throughout the house in varying stages of "readness". I have too many books and too little time.
