Compaq Has Another Top Job Open
I think the least likely outcome is that this leaves a job open - it seems obvious to me that this is part of a field consolidation which eliminated the need for Rando's position. "redundancy" in the best British tradition...
BTW Mike Heil's job is also not "open" - it was also eliminated. It looks like Rosen plans to take out a whole layer of management, probably several layers in some organizations.
