Lockheed Martin Awarded GSA Millennia
Contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin Information Support Services (ISS) is one of 12 vendors awarded the GSA Millennia contract for information technology services by the General Services Administration's Federal Technology Service. Millennia is valued at $25 billion over 10 years and is designed to support large system integration and software development.

The contract, awarded by ETS' Federal Computer Acquisition Center (Fedac) Solutions Development Center, will cover software engineering, communications and systems integration. Specific tasks may include software management and development, data communications, satellite communications systems, FIP acquisition support and business process reengineering.

''As the largest provider of information technology services to the Federal Government, Lockheed Martin is uniquely positioned to ensure total customer satisfaction on task orders and provide significant subcontract participation by small, disadvantaged and women-owned small businesses.''

Information Support Services is part of the Lockheed Martin Technology Services Group, a unit of the Corporation's Information & Services Sector. Technology Services Group has over 50 years of experience providing technical and management services for DOD and other government agencies around the world. Approximately 19,000 TSG employees are working on more than 150 contracts at over 300 sites in 16 countries.
